Dry Needling
Dry needling involves the use of a solid filament needle to stimulate a twitch response to release muscle tension and pain. The needles are inserted into a myofascial trigger point to deactivate and resolve them allowing your muscular pain to disappear.
What is a myofascial trigger point?
A myofascial trigger point is a small muscle fibre contraction knot that is related to the production and maintenance of the pain cycle. It is usually painful to touch and may refer to pain elsewhere.
